Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of confxglobal.com and the services offered through it, including accounts, membership, InsightX, the Solutions Directory, tools and event enquiries (the “Services”), provided by Intelignis LLC, trading as ConfX Global (“ConfX”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services. Accounts are for professional use and must be registered with a work email address that you are authorised to use.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. Each account is for one individual and may not be shared. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@confxglobal.com if you suspect unauthorised use. If you change employer, you may move your account to a new work email using the verification methods we provide.
3. Membership
ConfX accounts are available to professionals with a valid work email. Invitations to executive roundtables and other programmes are offered at our discretion based on the information you provide. Complimentary event passes are offered to selected members, are subject to availability and the criteria for each event, and are personal and non-transferable. We may change the benefits of any membership, and we may suspend or end a membership where information provided is inaccurate or these Terms are breached.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- create accounts using false information, another person’s identity or automated means;
- access content or features you are not entitled to, or attempt to bypass access controls;
- copy, scrape, harvest or systematically download content or contact information from the Services;
- submit inaccurate research responses, or attempt to influence Leadership Pulse or other research results;
- use introduction requests, shortlists or contact details for unsolicited marketing or any purpose other than the one stated;
- upload material that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing or harmful, or that contains malicious code;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Services, or test their vulnerability without our written permission; or
- use the Services in breach of any applicable law or regulation.
5. Content and intellectual property
The Services, including InsightX reports, sector briefings, Leadership Pulse research, Knowledge Sessions, articles, tools, designs, trademarks and logos, are owned by ConfX or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own internal professional purposes. You may share links and short excerpts with attribution to ConfX. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, sublicense or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
Interview summaries on the Website are our own editorial summaries of conversations published by third parties. The original interviews, podcasts and videos belong to their publishers, and we link to each original source.
6. Your submissions
When you submit content such as speaker proposals, company profile information, enquiries or feedback, you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to provide and promote the Services. Company information submitted to the Solutions Directory is also subject to our Directory Terms.
7. Tools and research
Our tools, benchmarks and research are provided to support your own analysis and decisions. They are general information and do not constitute legal, regulatory, financial, investment or other professional advice. The AI regulation mapper reflects our understanding of the rules as at the review date shown, and rules and timetables change. You should obtain professional advice before acting on any information provided through the Services.
8. Solutions Directory
Company profiles in the Solutions Directory are provided for information. A listing, featured placement or inclusion in a shortlist does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by ConfX. Introductions and shortlists are provided at our discretion, and any engagement between you and a listed company is solely between you and that company.
9. Enhanced Profiles: billing and refunds
Enhanced Profiles in the Solutions Directory are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or annually through our payment provider, Stripe. This section explains how they are billed, renewed, changed, cancelled and refunded. Event tickets, sponsorship, the DemandGen Program and other services agreed with our team are covered by their own terms. Payment does not influence our research, briefings or editorial coverage, or the results of shortlists and introductions.
9.1 Plans and prices
An Enhanced Profile is a subscription, billed monthly or annually. Current prices are shown on the List your company page in US dollars, pounds sterling and euros, and you choose the currency at checkout. Prices exclude taxes. Where VAT, GST or a similar tax applies, it is shown and added at checkout, and business customers can add a tax ID.
9.2 Who can buy
An Enhanced Profile is bought by the owner of a company profile. When your verified work email matches the company’s website, you become the owner and your Enhanced Profile starts as soon as payment is confirmed.
When we need to confirm your link to the company first, for example because you use a different email domain or the company is new to the Directory, your card is saved at checkout and is not charged until we confirm the order. If we cannot confirm it, the order is cancelled and nothing is charged. A profile that already has an owner can be upgraded only by that owner.
9.3 Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach ConfX. A receipt is emailed for every payment, and invoices are available from Manage billing in your account.
9.4 Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. For annual plans we email a reminder before each renewal.
9.5 Changing or cancelling
The profile owner can switch between monthly and annual billing, update payment details and cancel from Manage billing in their account. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and the profile stays Enhanced until then. Afterwards it returns to a Standard Profile: your company information is kept, and content available only with an Enhanced Profile is hidden.
9.6 Refunds
- 14-day refund: you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription, or within 14 days of an annual renewal. Use Request a refund in your account. The refund goes to the original payment method and the Enhanced Profile ends straight away.
- One 14-day refund is available per company in any 12-month period.
- Monthly renewals are not refunded. You can cancel at any time and keep the Enhanced Profile until the end of the month you paid for.
- If we end the service: if ConfX discontinues Enhanced Profiles, or removes your profile when you have not breached our terms, we refund the unused part of your current period.
- Removal for a breach: if a profile is removed because it breaks our Terms and Conditions or the Solutions Directory Policy, the current period is not refunded.
Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show a refund.
9.7 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days and emails the billing contact. If payment is not completed, the subscription ends and the profile returns to a Standard Profile. You can upgrade again at any time.
9.8 Price changes
We will email the profile owner at least 30 days before a price change. New prices apply from the next renewal after that notice.
9.9 Questions and disputes
If something about a payment looks wrong, please contact us at info@confxglobal.com before raising a dispute with your bank, so that we can put it right quickly.
10. Events
Our events are delivered by ConfX and, in some cases, with partners. Each event has its own registration terms and its own cancellation, transfer and refund policy, which apply to tickets, delegate places and sponsorship for that event. Please read the policy on the relevant event’s website or registration page before booking. Programs, speakers and venues may change. Attendees must follow our Code of Conduct and the rules of each venue.
11. Third-party links and services
The Services contain links to event websites, original interview sources, company websites and other third-party resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConfX will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConfX and its officers, employees and agents from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
15. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time in your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, where changes are material, notify account holders. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
18. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. These Terms, together with the policies referred to in them, are the entire agreement between you and ConfX regarding the Services.
