Accessibility
ConfX is committed to making our website and events accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the measures we take, known limitations and how to contact us.
1. Our standard
We aim for confxglobal.com to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We consider accessibility in the design and development of new features and review the Website regularly.
2. Measures we take
- A consistent structure with headings, landmarks and skip links to help screen reader and keyboard users navigate.
- Full keyboard operation of menus, tabs, filters, forms and dialogs, with visible focus indicators.
- Text and interface colours chosen to meet contrast requirements.
- Labels and instructions for every form field, and clear error messages.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Support for browser zoom up to 200% and text resizing without loss of content.
- Respect for your system’s reduced-motion setting, including pausing the homepage slideshow.
3. Known limitations
Some older Knowledge Sessions do not yet have captions or transcripts, and some older PDF reports may not be fully accessible. We are adding captions and producing accessible versions of reports, prioritising the most viewed content. Some third-party content, such as embedded video players and linked external websites, is outside our control.
4. Accessibility at our events
When you register for an event, you can tell us about any access requirements, such as step-free access, accessible seating, hearing support, dietary needs or a companion. We work with each venue to meet them. Contact us as early as possible before an event so that we can make arrangements.
5. Alternative formats
If you need any of our content in an alternative format, such as an accessible document or a transcript, email info@confxglobal.com and we will provide it where we can.
